Invisalign: How does it work?
The Invisalign process is relatively simple and non-invasive. The first step is a consultation and evaluation of your dental health needs, the fit and function of your bite, and your cosmetic goals. While most interested patients are candidates for Invisalign, it is important to thoroughly evaluate the bite to ensure a successful and stable result.
After taking dental impressions of your bite, we will submit our treatment plans to the Invisalign lab. A custom set of clear aligners will be made for you according to your treatment plan. Each aligner is specially designed to gently move your teeth. Over the course of your treatment, you will change aligners on a pre-determined schedule or approximately every two weeks.

How do I keep the aligners clean?
We will demonstrate how to maintain your aligners and keep them clean before placing the initial set. There are products available to disinfect and clean Invisalign trays, and we will also recommend rinsing and brushing them whenever you brush your teeth.
